When it comes to blue blocking glasses, some wear them for eye protection at the computer. These typically filter 10-30% of light, and they usually have clear lens with hints of blue or yellow. You can get those most anywhere. But if you’re blocking blue light for better sleep, you’ll need to go orange. Orange is used to block all artificial blue light. Blue light can disrupt melatonin levels and delay onset of sleep. Always ask your doctor. especially those who work indoors all day without windows. Even though you work at the computer, filtering all blue light could result in a weakened circadian system.
