Federal Agencies Granted 30-Day Grace Period To Remove TikTok From Government Devices

Federal Agencies have been granted a 30-day grace period to remove a popular social media app from all government-issued devices.
All executive Agencies must delete any apps from TikTok or its parent company, ‘ByteDance’ within 30 days with few exceptions.
Within 90 days, Agencies must present new contracts that display the short video platform cannot be accessed on devices and must terminate any contracts that currently require the app’s use.
