Starbucks has announced a new ingredient in a new line of beverages.
The coffee chain said their new drink options will consist of a spoonful of olive oil. The beverages are not meant to taste like olive oil but the addition will add 120 calories to the total.
Starting this week, three olive oil drinks are for sale at Starbucks cafes in Italy as a test run.
New Options:
- Oleato latte with oat milk and olive oil
- Oleato ice shaken espresso with oat milk, hazelnut flavor, and olive oil
- Oleato golden foam cold brew made with a version of Starbucks’ sweet milk foam and infused with two olive oil servings.
Versions of those drinks are set to hit the U.S. this spring.
