Electric Scooter Transportation Option Coming To Conway

People in Conway could soon see the travel option of electric scooters. The council voted 6-1 for allowing Peel Scooters to operate in the downtown area from the Riverwalk to Collins Park.

The program is set to last for six months and once the timeline is over, city leaders will revisit the program to review its success.

The scooters will be rented through an app and the company hopes to have nearly 50 in the city.

A clear timeline of when the scooters will be available for rent has not yet been announced.

This will be the first time Conway has ever had the electric scooter transportation option.
