Mike Pence Subpoenaed By Special Counsel

The subpoena is a significant milestone in the Justice Department's two-year criminal investigation on how Trump allegedly instigated the attack in hopes to "impede the transfer of power" after he lost the 2020 election.

A former vice president has been subpoenaed by the special counsel for an investigation.

Special Counsel Jack Smith’s office is seeking documents and testimony regarding the January 6th attack on the Capitol.

They want former Vice President, Mike Pence, to testify about his interactions with former President Donald Trump leading up to the 2020 election as well as on the day Trump followers invaded the Capitol.
