COVID Shots Now Added To Routinely Recommended Vaccines List

The immunization list includes current vaccine recommendations for children, teens, and adults, but are not required for schools and workplaces.

As the COVID National and public health emergency protocol is set to be terminated, COVID shots are being added to a list.

COVID-19 shots have now been added to the new schedules of routinely recommended vaccines released by the CDC. The immunization list includes current vaccine recommendations for children, teens, and adults, but are not required for schools and workplaces.

Significant changes to the schedules include the addition on COVID-19 primary vaccine series and recommendations on a booster dose vaccination.

Changes also include updated guidance on influenza and pneumococcal vaccines, as well as new vaccines for measles, mumps, rubella, and hepatitis B.
