BYOB – Bring Your Own Bag – or Prepare to Pay More at Checkout

A lot of retailers are doing away with the plastic bags and offering alternatives at an added cost.

BYOB is not just a party term.  Many stores will tell you to do the same.   In other words, bring your own bag or be prepared to pay more at checkout.  A lot of retailers are doing away with the plastic bags.  They are either not offering them at all, with a BYOB policy or selling totes to customers that need a way to transport their goods out of the store.  Retailers such as Walmart, Kroger, Aldi, and others have or are in the process of eliminating plastic bags.   While others like The Vitamin Shoppe have removed plastic and paper from locations.
