Suspected Chinese Spy Balloon Shot Down By The U.S.

U.S. military jets shot down the suspected spy balloon over the Atlantic Ocean just off of our coast in Myrtle Beach.

All eyes were on the sky in our community this weekend as the U.S. military shot down the suspected Chinese spy balloon.

President Biden ordered the aircraft to be taken down on Wednesday, but it was considered to be dangerous as officials feared falling debris could put people’s safety at risk.

The government tracked the balloon as it traveled across the Nation. The Chinese structure made its way from Montana all the way to the Carolinas.

U.S. military jets shot down the suspected spy balloon over the Atlantic Ocean just off of our coast in Myrtle Beach.

Debris landed in 47 feet of water and recovery efforts began shortly after the balloon was punctured by a fighter jet missile.

China responded that it reserved the right to “take further actions” and criticized the U.S. for “an obvious overreaction and a serious violation of international practice.”

China has admitted to another balloon, this one is over the skies of Latin America.
