Tom Brady Is Officially Retiring
The NFL quarterback said "you only get one long emotional retirement essay" and he used his last year so he just said thank you to his fans for supporting him over the years.
It’s official, Tom Brady has announced he is retiring “for good.”
The 45-year-old NFL quarterback previously announced he was retiring on February 1st of last year, then withdrew his statement 40 days later and returned to play with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
On February 1st of 2023, Brady shared that he is officially stepping down after a 23-year-long career.
In a video posted via social media Brady said he would not change a thing about his career. He added, “you only get one long emotional retirement essay” and he used his last year so he just said thank you to his fans for supporting him over the years.
Brady is a seven-time Super Bowl winner ending his career as the NFL’s all-time leader in passing yards and touch downs.
