A wave of sunshine. Students have a school assembly to show some love to the neighborhood lady who waves at them day in and day out. Tinney Davidson is 84-year-old and has lived in the community since anyone can remember. She’s connected to the kids through a simple wave. She keeps an eye on them as they pass to and from from school by waving from inside. There’s been cute stories and antics over the years and has become a thing to wave to and be waved at by Ms. Davidson. The school invited Davidson to an assembly where students showed appreciation with a video and cards.
Speaking of compassion, this story comes full circle for local residents. Amy Tempel writes Audra to share how kindness shown by Greg Rowles years ago to her mother Carol Smulsky has come full circle in their family’s lives. Audra shares the message and Greg responds.
