Temporary housing for Veterans will soon be available in Loris.

‘Providing Hope VA’ is an organization that assists homeless Veterans in finding shelter, jobs, and food. Next year the organization plans to provide housing to Veterans and Vets with children.

The facility will have 19 rooms, one family room, and two rooms for women. The plan is to set up a phase to ease them back up on their feet.

The ‘Providing Hope Center’ will include a clinic, and personal finance classes with Wells Fargo Bank. It is set to offer counseling as well.

The facility will also allow Veteran’s pets as well.

The new amenity broke ground on Wednesday.
