UGA Player And Staff Member Killed In A Car Crash

On Sunday, the University of Georgia lost a player and a staff member after a single car crash.
The accident occurred just hours after the team celebrated its second consecutive national championship victory.
20-year-old, Devin Willock and 24-year-old, Chandler LeCroy, along with two other passengers, were traveling near the UGA campus in Athens when the vehicle went off the road slammed into two power poles and struck several trees.
Willock was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. LeCroy was transported to a hospital where she later died.
Willock joined the team as a freshman in 2020 and played offensive line in all 15 of the team’s games this past season. LeCroy was a football recruiting analyst for UGA.
The other two passengers were offensive lineman, Warran McClendon, who suffered minor injuries, and Victoria Bowls who suffered serious injuries.
