Biden To Possibly Visit U.S.-Mexico Boreder
This will mark the first time Biden will visit the area since he took office as officials continue to struggle with a migrant crisis and an immigration system that some label "unstable".
President Biden announced he is going to try and visit the U.S.-Mexico border.
The U.S. leader is set to travel next week to the North American Leaders’ Summit in Mexico City. He stated his intentions are to stop by the border as they are working out details to make that possible.
This will mark the first time Biden will visit the area since he took office as officials continue to struggle with a migrant crisis and an immigration system that some label “unstable”.
For two years White House officials have ignored the calls to visit the border however, in the weeks since the midterm elections, officials have opened up to potential pathways for immigration legislation in a divided congress.
An official decision for Biden to make a pitstop at the border has not yet been made.
