The Death Of Former Pope Benedict XVI

Pope Francis recently announced Benedict’s health was consistently declining and on December 31st he passed away with his last words being “Lord, I love you”.

Over the past few days, people from all over the world have made their way to honor the former pope. Pope Francis will preside over the funeral on Thursday in St. Peter’s Square.

Many heads of state’s are set to attend and pay their respects as Benedicts coffin is carried to his place of burial in the Crypt of St. Peter’s Basilica.
