CCU’s Quarterback Withdrew From The NCAA Transfer Portal

The 6-foot-3 quarterback is the only football player in Sun Belt history to earn player of the year honors three times.

Coastal Carolina University’s quarterback has withdrawn from the NCAA transfer portal.

Grayson McCall first entered the portal on December 12th and withdrew on Sunday. He was expected to check out Auburn University but the visitation was cancelled reportedly due to an academic issue.

The 6-foot-3 quarterback is the only football player in Sun Belt history to earn player of the year honors three times. He still has two season of eligibility if he decides to use an NCAA waiver issued because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
