The U.S. is following the science and advice of public health experts while consulting with partners and laying out the steps needed to take in order to protect the American people.
Japan has already imposed a rule that China travelers require a negative COVID test before arriving to the country.
Taiwan is also considering conducting COVID tests on visitors from China as well.
