SpaceX Launched Its 60th Mission This Year

The goal of the mission is to eventually add more capacity to the network so that Internet would be able to reach more consumers.

Early Wednesday morning, SpaceX launched its 60th mission this year.

The first batch of a new generation of Starlink satellites were launched into orbit around 4:34a.m EST. The Falcon 9 rocket topped with 54 upgraded Starlink Internet satellites made a rocket landing at sea to mark the record of the 60th flight.

The goal of the mission is to eventually add more capacity to the network so that Internet would be able to reach more consumers.

The rocket took off from the Cape Canaveral Space Force station in Florida.
