Dog Rescued From Intracoastal Waterway After Escaping Fenced In Yard

The terrified dog would not approach rescuers so the owner was brought to the scene by boat and was reunited with her dog.

A missing dog was rescued from the Intracoastal Waterway in North Myrtle Beach.

The dog reportedly escaped a fenced in yard Monday night. The North Myrtle Beach Rescue Squad, Water Rescue Team, and North Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue assisted the dog after it made it down a 30-foot cliff behind the Grand Strand Airport.

The terrified dog would not approach rescuers so the owner was brought to the scene by boat and was reunited with her dog.

Both the owner and dog were taken to safety.
