Shooting Investigation Reveals Man Shot And Killed Ex-Girlfriend
The investigation revealed that a man was waiting for his ex-girlfriend to pick up her child from a baby-sitter. After waiting for the female to show up the man shot her and then proceed to shoot himself.
New details have been released into the shooting investigation that began after two people were left in life-threatening conditions.
The incident occurred Monday in the 300 block of Cedar Street off Highway 501.
The investigation revealed that a man was waiting for his ex-girlfriend to pick up her child from a baby-sitter. A neighbor’s surveillance camera caught the moment the man got out of his truck and revealed he was holding a gun.
The man shot the female as she approached the building then proceed to shoot himself. The child was not harmed.
26-year-old, Betzabeth Meza, later died from her injuries.
The man remains in the hospital suffering life-threatening injuries.
The case is still under an active investigation as domestic-related.
