Paul Pelosi’s Attacker Possibly Had More Targets
In a preliminary hearing on Wednesday, a recorded police interview of DePape was played that revealed he had other targets.
New details have been revealed in the case of Paul Pelosi’s attacker.
A few months ago, 42-year-old, David DePape, broke into the Pelosi’s San Francisco home and attacked the husband of House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi.
DePape was arrested and is facing trial on several different charges.
In a preliminary hearing on Wednesday, a recorded police interview of DePape was played that revealed he had other targets including California Governor, Gavin Newsom, the president’s son, Hunter Biden, and even actor, Tom Hanks.
DePape mentioned on the scene of Pelosi’s attack that he was on a “suicide mission.” He also said “I’m sick of the insane level of lies coming out of Washington D.C., I’m not going to stand here and do nothing, even if it costs me my life.”
The attacker pleaded not guilty to two federal charges and if convicted he could spend 13 years to life in prison.
