One Arrested For Death Of Man Shot In Horry County Home

The victim was found shot in his home and later died at a hospital. His death was ruled as a homicide and an investigation was opened.

Updates have been released on a shooting that occurred in an Horry County home.

Around 9p.m on Sunday night, police arrived to the 900 block of Forest Loop where reports were made of shots fired and one person seriously injured.

The victim later died in a hospital and was identified as 42-year-old Brandon Robinson. His death was ruled as a homicide.

An investigation led to the arrest of 30-year-old, Joe Gause, who has been charged with murder and attempted murder as well as possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Gause is currently being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center without bond.
