Myrtle Beach Airport Adopts New Program
The new opportunity that will assist travelers with hidden disabilities.
The Myrtle Beach International Airport has launched a new opportunity that will assist travelers with hidden disabilities.
On Wednesday, the airport began the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program. It provides a discreet way for travelers with a hidden disability to self-identify and alert airport personnel that they may need extra assistance while they are traveling.
Those who are interested in participating can request a sunflower lanyard at one of two information booths that are located at baggage claim and near the Nacho Hippo and close to the “A” Concourse.
the program does not authorize special privileges, simply additional assistance.
