When Colt Galloway was just 10-years-old, he had the thought to help patients at a children’s hospital. Colt has been attending the hospital annually for years for his Hemophilia that requires an annual check-up.
An encounter with another patient made Colt think about how lucky he was that he only had to go once a year. He then had the idea to start Colt’s Closet. He wanted to gather toys to take to the children in the hospital.
Colt’s Closet has been able to gather and donate 7,800 toys to the children’s hospital now called Prisma Healthcare.
Colt is set to graduate high school in May and has a goal to donate 10 thousand toys to the hospital by then.
