Man Arrested For Stabbing Incident In Myrtle Beach

The victim suffered "significant lacerations to his thigh, hands, and head."

A man has been detained in connection to a stabbing incident that occurred in the Myrtle Beach area.

A police report and warrants obtained, led to the arrest of 21-year-old, Alexander Paz, who allegedly stabbed and cut someone earlier this week.

Horry County Police Department reported to the area of Thunder Court around 6:50a.m, Tuesday morning.

Upon arrival, police discovered Paz still attempting to attack the victim while they were lying between two cars and bleeding. The victim suffered “significant lacerations to his thigh, hands, and head.”

He was taken to the hospital but his condition has not been provided. Paz is charged with attempted murder and use of a weapon during a violent crime.

He is being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center with a bond of $30 thousand.
