Crash Involving 4 Tractor-Trailers Resulted In Hours Of Lane Closures

Four tractor-trailers were the cause of a crash that shut down part of I-95.

On Tuesday evening, a crash involving four tractor-trailers shut down I-95 for hours.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol shared that four 18-wheelers were the cause of a crash at mile marker 156 in the Northbound lanes.

Injuries were reported but it is not yet clear just how many people were injured.

The crash forced crews to close multiple lanes of the highway. Between the lane closure, and the crash itself, traffic was held up for hours.

All traveling traffic were sent to take a detour onto exit 153 leading back onto I-95 at exit 157.
