The weapon gain could give the kremlin a heavy advantage on the battlefield.
Iran is preparing to ship ballistic missiles to Russia to use in it’s war against Ukraine.
Ukrainian forces said that it doesn’t have a powerful enough defense to stand against the type of missiles Iran is sending.
In recent weeks, Russia has used Iranian drones to attack Ukrainian infrastructure. Western officials say a plan is in the works for Iran to send nearly 1 thousand additional weapons, including short-range ballistic missiles and more attack drones.
The weapon gain could give the kremlin a heavy advantage on the battlefield.
It is unclear when exactly the new shipment will be delivered but it is expected to be in Russia before the end of the year.
