One Man Has Been Arrested On Charges For Animal Cruelty

Three cows were found dead as well as others showed signs of neglect.

The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office received 911 calls reporting cows roaming the street, which led to the discovery of dead and distressed cattle.

36-year-old, Aljaron Collins, has been arrested on three charges of animal cruelty.

Deputies responded to a property off of Hardee Street where three cows were found dead as well as others showed signs of neglect. The cattle were without food and water.

Collins is currently being held at the Georgetown County Detention Center.
