The damaged infrastructures were mostly energy facilities leaving many without power and water.

Russia bombarded Ukraine with missile attacks that struck critical infrastructure in Kyiv, Khariv and other cities.

The attack caused the loss of water and power supplies. Russia said, the goals of the strikes were achieved, all designated targets were struck.

The damaged infrastructures were mostly energy facilities. Nearly three million people were left without water supplies due to the damage to the facilities.

Ukraine’s air forces said it shot down 44 out of over 50 cruise missiles that were launched. One of the shot down missiles landed on civilian buildings causing damage but no casualties.

The incident occurred as a retaliation for an alleged Ukraine drone attack against Russia’s “Black Sea Fleet” in which Ukraine has denied taking any part in.
