A Head-On Collision Resulted In One Dead And Two Injured

An investigation into the crash has been opened.

A head on collision in Florence County resulted in one death and two injuries.

The accident occurred around 7p.m, Saturday night.

A 2019 Kia sedan was traveling North on Highway 403 when a 2015 Chevrolet sedan going South, crossed the center line and hit the Kia head-on.

The driver of the Kia was taken to McLeod Hospital where the 56-year-old later died.

The 21-year-old driver of the Chevrolet as well as the 23-year-old passenger, were both taken to the hospital, their conditions have not been publicly released.

An investigation into the crash has been opened.
