Two Found Dead In A Home After Caller Confessed To Murder

Identities of the deceased have not yet been released.

Marlboro County deputies received a call from a home, the caller confessed to shooting and killing a person. The caller explained that he intended to take his own life after hanging up.

Multiple divisions of law enforcement arrived at the home on Step Road. A man and a woman were found dead inside.

Identities of the deceased have not been released as deputies work to inform family members.

An investigation is currently being conducted.
