If you ever feel like you get more sad or anxious when the weather gets cooler and the days get shorter, you’re not alone.   It’s called seasonal affective disorder, and here are some strategies to help you cope.  try to create and stick to a routine.  It could be as simple as going to bed and waking up at the same time every day.   Sticking to those times could make a big difference in how you feel overall.  A routine can help you get more restful sleep as well.  Get some exposure to light.  Experts recommend at least 30 minutes a day of natural light outdoors or a medical-grade light device. and it’s better to get that exposure earlier in the morning than later in the day.  Stick to activities that keep you feeling good. even though it’s cold and you might not want to leave the house, exercising regularly as well as socializing and eating a well-balanced diet will help keep you in check.
