Liam Neeson confirms he will lead the revival of the much-loved police spoof franchise. The original trilogy released in
the 80’s featured Leslie Nielsen as the gullible detective. There’s word that he’ll play the son of Lieutenant Frank Drebin, who was played by the late Nielsen in the originals.
