Alex Jones, ordered to pay Millions in the Sandy Hook Defamation Case
Radio show host and conspiracy theorist, Alex jones has been ordered to pay hundred of millions in damages caused by his defamation.
The panel took three days to conclude a unanimous verdict. It was decided that Jones would have to pay $965 million to families of eight victims that died during the Sandy Hook shooting as well as an FBI agent. Jones, made a claim that the shooting at the elementary school, was a hoax.
During the trial, he attempted to portray himself as a victim who had been “typecast” for claiming the shooting was fake. He stated that he is now aware that the massacre did in fact happen, however, he believes the FBI knew it was going to take place.
A third trial is expected to start later this year.
