The Fastest and Most Accurate Fast Food Joints
The average total time spent in drive-thru lanes decreased by about 10 seconds from a year ago.
A data analysis company that uses “mystery shoppers” to grade places on customer experience just released an annual report after visiting 10 chains at more than 1,500 locations. Here’s what they found…the average total time spent in drive-thru lanes decreased by about 10 seconds from a year ago to 372 seconds or a little over 6 minutes. Overall, order accuracy is about 85%, which is about the same as last year. The five fastest chains are KFC, Taco Bell, Hardee’s, Dunkin’ and Carl’s Jr. Chick-fil-A was #1 last year, but they were dead last this year. Also, for what it’s worth, the most common error is including the wrong beverage.
