What’s Happening This Weekend on The Grand Strand

If you're looking for something to do this weekend, there's plenty of local events in the area.

The Market Common always has something going on and this weekend is no different with “Art in the Park” hosted by the Waccamaw Arts & Crafts Guild.  That’s in Valor Park Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.  You’ll find woodworking, photography, jewelry and more!

get into the Halloween spirit in Conway at the “Rivertown Spooktacular” boat parade.  The vessels will run from the Savannah Bluff Landing, pass the Conway Marina, turn around at the Railroad Trestles and come back to the Marina.  That begins Saturday at 4 p.m.

The rescheduled Harvest Home Weekend is at Brookgreen Gardens.   Enjoy the pumpkin patch and scarecrow along with food.  Our very own Greg Rowles who will be entertaining. This one is another two-day event going Saturday and Sunday.

Another great Murrells Inlet event, The Fall Harvest Festival and BBQ” kicks off at Belin Church Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.   Enjoy a classics car show, plenty of great food, music, a bake sale, vendors and a silent auction!

Finally, don’t forget about the Llittle River Shrimp Festival Saturday and Sunday .  The 17th annual event is happening right there on the waterfront.   There will be so many great vendors, seafood and fair favorites along with plenty of fun for the kids.   Get out and enjoy it from 9 to 5 on both days.  It’s $5 for adults, free for 12 and under.
