The Rise Of Covid-19 Cases In The U.K. Warns The U.S.

The United Kingdom could be expecting a Covid-19 breakout and experts believe the U.S. is not too far behind. A recent increase in Covid-19 cases in the U.K. has not been confirmed to be a new Coronavirus variant. Dr. Tim Spector, professor of genetic epidemiology at Kings College London said “generally, what happens in the U.K. is reflected about a month later in the U.S. After seeing a downward trend for the past few weeks a 30% increase in reported Covid-19 cases within the past week was reported. U.S. models show a possible up-tick in cases in the month of October but experts are hopeful because most of the population now has some underlying immunity.
