Kamala Harris Visits Two SC Colleges

To push for voter registration, Vice President Kamala Harris visited 2 historically black South Carolina colleges. Harris was at South Carolina State University and Claflin University to focus on places and demographics that will be important to Democrats’ chances to hold on to congress in midterm elections. Yesterday, classes were canceled and students lined up outside of the SHM center at SC state to see the Vice President. She proceeded to the Claflin campus where she was a part of a roundtable discussion. Her trips are designed to prevent any drop off turnout among voters of color and young people.
