Listen up new parents, a new study out this month says doing this sooth your crying baby.

Five minutes could save you a lot…of sleep!  Listen up new parents, a new study out this month says doing this sooth your crying baby.  Scientists found that walking with a crying infant for five minutes in your arms without any sudden turns, then holding  while sitting for eight, will soothe your little one right to sleep.  It promotes sleep by reducing their heart rate.  The study published in the Journal Current Biology says it only works with fussy babies. Why is this big news this morning?  Stats show that most parents don’t get a decent night’s sleep for the first 6 six years after their child is born.  Sleep deprivation is linked to postpartum depression.  They are hoping this gives parents one more method to try.
