Fatal Plane Crash During the Reno Air Races

A plane crash during the Reno Air Races yesterday resulted in the death of a pilot. The fatal incident took place during the third lap of the Jet Gold Race. All other pilots landed safely and the race operations for 2022 have been suspended. The Reno Air Racing association expressed their sympathies to the pilot’s family, friends and race fans. an investigation into the crash is being conducted by the NTSB, as well as the FAA. The identity of the pilot has not yet been released.
