We begin today with an author searching a lifetime for and finally tracking down the teacher that taught him to read. Author Jamil Jan tried for years to reconnect with his second grade teacher, whom he credits his success he’s had in life. When he was a boy, he didn’t know any english so, Mrs. Lung stayed after hours every day to teach Jamil how to read, something she managed to do in a year. After all this time, with the help of friend he finally found his teacher andand she surprised him at one of his book readings.

A 44-year-old single dad from Ohio is going viral after he posted a TikTok video trying to find a date to an amusement park. Where he was planning to accompany his teen daughter and a friend. The 44 year old had just a few requirements for his date: “Had to be at least 34, a non-smoker, and someone who likes rollercoasters”. He got his date…but the response was so great, that he decided to sponsor a trip for a widow and her two children to enjoy a day at the park. Then, announced he would sponsor a family every year to the park…which is in Kings Island, Ohio.

There must be something in the air in Ohio…a grandson in the state took his 92-year-old grandmother on a journey of a lifetime! Brad Ryan and his 92-year-old grandmother, Joy Ryan, have officially visited 62 of 63 U.S. National parks, with one more left to go. Brad and Joy joined “Fox & Friends” on Friday to share the details of their adventure beginning back in 2015, when Brad called his grandmother and asked if she’d accompany him.

A National food chain is putting extra fun in football with a cool program. Food Lion‘s “Feeds’ Sack to Give Back”  program is teaming with 33 colleges and universities to help nourish neighbors in need. It’s an effort to tackle hunger, the grocery store will donate 1,000 meals (up to 30,000 meals per school) for every quarterback sack made by the participating institution to each school’s local Feeding America member food bank. Coastal Carolina Univerisity is one of those! Since 2019, more than 1 million meals have been served through the campaign.
