Two People Shot in ‘Memorial Park’ in Uvalde, Texas

A picnic in the park turned into a panic. Yesterday afternoon at Memorial Park in Uvalde, Texas, gunfire began between basketball courts and slides. Officers rapidly responded and two juveniles were taken to hospitals as well as two people were shot. The gunfire broke out just a mile and a half from Robb Elementary School where just months ago the deadliest school shooting in the us since 2012 erupted. The victim’s conditions and identities have not yet been released.
