Woman Charged After Impersonating SLED Agent

A 33 year old woman from Horry County has been arrested after authorities say she impersonated a SLED agent. Ashley Wilson was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Monday and released yesterday afternoon. According to the arrest warrant, Wilson impersonated an agent on October 1st, 2021 in Horry County to ‘obtain information that may not have been otherwise provided.’ The complaint was made based on Facebook records and witness statements.
