Senator Lindsey Graham’s Testimony Delayed by Judge
Yesterday, a panel of appeals court judges temporarily postponed Senator Lindsey Graham’s testimony before a Fulton County special grand jury in Atlanta. The temporary stay issued by the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals delayed Graham’s testimony which was previously scheduled for tomorrow until a lower court weighs arguments about the types of questions that can and cannot be posed to Graham due to protections granted to members of Congress under the constitution. Last Monday, U.S. District Judge Leigh Martin May denied Graham’s request to quash his subpoena. On Friday she also rejected his effort to put her decision on hold while he appealed.
