140 Migrants Arrive in NYC From Texas

A large number of migrants arrived in New York City over the weekend on buses sent from Texas. At least 140 asylum seekers arrived yesterday making it the largest single-day arrival of migrants. They arrived on three buses around 6:45 a.m. and the group was a mix of families and individuals, including 10 children with the youngest being around 10 months old. According to Governor Greg Abbott’s office, ‘Texas has bussed 7,000 migrants to Washington D.C. since April and over 900 to New York City since August 5th.’
