Anne Heche’s Car Crash Ruled Accidental by LA County Coroner

The LA County Coroner has ruled Anne Heche’s death an accident. According to the Los Angeles County Department of the Medical Examiner-Coroner, ‘inhalation’ and ‘thermal injuries’ were the cause of Heche’s death. Other significant conditions in her death included a ‘sternal fracture due to blunt trauma.’ Heche crashed her vehicle into a home in LA on August 5th and experienced a ‘severe anoxic brain injury’, depriving her of oxygen among other critical injuries. She died Sunday after being taken off of life support. Heche’s body has been released from the coroner’s office according to the report.
