Man Arrested in Connection to Armed Robbery at Home Depot

A man was arrested on Friday in connection to an armed robbery at the Home Depot store on Oak Forest Lane. 61 year old David Plump was taken into custody at his home on Friday afternoon. Police say Plump showed a gun and demanded money before fleeing in a white van, it’s unknown whether he got away with any money in the robbery. Following the incident, officers released a traffic-cam photo of a vehicle believed to have been involved in the robbery and investigators began receiving tips from people who recognized Plump. As of this morning, he remains behind bars at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center without bail.
