Gas Prices Under $4 for First Time Since March

The average gas price in the United States has dropped below $4 a gallon for the first time since March. According to AAA, the national average price for a regular gallon of gasoline fell to $3.99, coming a long way since the $5.02 mark it hit in June. Despite the drop, prices are still 25% higher than they were last year. The cost of oil has also fallen from $120 a barrel in June to around $92. According to a report from the International Energy Agency, that drop is partly because of Russia continuing to pump more oil than expected.
