Migrants Arrive in NYC from Texas Over the Weekend

54 asylum seekers arrived in New York on Friday on a bus from Texas. According to an announcement from Governor Greg Abbott’s office, New York is now a designated ‘drop-off location for the busing strategy as part of the governor’s response to the Biden administration’s open border policies overwhelming Texas communities.’ Also according to the governor’s office, more than 5,100 migrants have arrived in Washington D.C. from Texas on more than 135 buses as Abbott began sending migrants to the city earlier this year as an affront to the Biden administration.
