Four People Injured During Lightning Strike Near White House

Four people were injured after a lightning strike outside of the White House yesterday morning. D.C. Fire and EMS responded to LaFayette Park around 6:52 p.m. and found two adult females and two adult males suffering from life-threatening injuries, all of whom were transported to hospitals. The U.S. Secret Service uniformed division and officers from the U.S. Park Police witnessed the strike and immediately began to render aid to the victims.
