Indiana Congresswoman Jackie Walorski Killed in Car Crash
An Indiana Congresswoman and two people on her staff were killed during a car crash yesterday. Republican Representative Jackie Walorski who represented Indiana’s 2nd Congressional District died yesterday afternoon at the age of 58 during an accident in Elkhart County, Indiana. A northbound car traveled left of center and collided head on with their southbound SUV. All three occupants in the SUV which carried Walorski died as a result of their injuries. Walorski served three terms in the state’s legislature and was elected in 2012. An investigation into the crash is being conducted by the Elkhart County Coroner’s Office and Sheriff’s Office.
